On 8th November 2012 Haryana School Teacher Selection Board advertised 9870 primary teachers vacancy. After so much efforts done by the union of selected JBT'S the government of Haryana declared the result of the said Vacancy, in the month of August 2014.
But HSTSB made a mistake in the result. HSTSB did not displayed the marks of M.A. in the result. The candidates who possed master degree were surprised to see that the board hadnot given them 2 marks for M.A. The affected candidates went to the Punjab and Haryana High court. They filed a writ petition in the court complaining that the HSTSB had not given them 2 marks for M.A. Then the court stayed the recruitment process. After hearing the case single bench of high court disposed off their writ petition. The affected candidates again filed the same writ petition in the division bench of high court and the court stayed the Joining. Since then the selected JBT'S of Haryana have been waiting for their appointment. But yesterday the concerned judge was not present in the court. So the case was not heard in the court. Now the next date for this case is 15 February 2017.
