Parents teachers meeting on regular basis is to be conducted to ensure quality education in the schools of Union Territory, Chandigarh. Education Department Chandigarh has issued instructions for the schools to conduct Parents Teacher Meeting regularly. Observing the status of PTM in schools the department took this initiative. It is not wrong to say that Parents Teacher Meeting is an essential part of teaching learning process. To provide quality education and maintain proper observation of students activity in school and at home, there should be regular Parents Teacher Meeting. In the Meeting both the teacher and the parents communicate with each other. The purpose of the meeting is to find out the shortcomings of teaching learning process and to improve this process. Parents tell the activity of their children to teachers. On the other hand teachers also inform the progress of students, achievements and many other Information.
