Prime Minister Narender Modi today launched an Aadhaar Based mobile App. This app is named as BHIM (Bharat Interface For Money)

to promote a cashless economy in India, the government is initiating different steps towards digital payment. On 8^th November 2016, when government of india demonetized rupees 500 and 1000  notes in India , since then various steps have been taken to make India as a cashless Economy

DA For UT Employees

Chandigarh administration has given new year gift to its employees working in union territory.

Chandigarh: After the announcement of DA by Punjab Government on 21/12/2016. Chandigarh administration also announced dearness allowance for its employees working in different boards and departments. Prior to this the employees were getting DA 125% of their basic salary. Now following Punjab government decision Chandigarh Administration also increased DA from 125% to 132%. The total increment in DA is 7%. While there is happiness on the face of employees, but still there is a anger amongst the employees who want DA from July 2016. DA for the month from July to December 2016 has been lapsed due to Punjab government decision. Punjab Goverment has not given DA for the month July to December 2016. Chandigarh administration also announced DA for its employees same as Punjab. Now the increased DA will be applicable from 1st January 2017. Some employees unions are protesting against this season of Administration, because according to the rule DA must be given twicw in a year i.e.  in the month of January and July.

Regular Parents Teacher Meeting PTM Schedule Chandigarh Education Department

Parents teachers meeting on regular basis is to be conducted to ensure quality education in the schools of Union Territory, Chandigarh. Education Department Chandigarh has issued instructions for the schools to conduct Parents Teacher Meeting regularly. Observing the status of PTM in schools the department took this initiative. It is not wrong to say that Parents Teacher Meeting is an essential part of teaching learning process. To provide quality education and maintain proper observation of students activity in school and at home, there should be regular Parents Teacher Meeting. In the Meeting both the teacher and the parents communicate with each other. The purpose of the meeting is to find out the shortcomings of teaching learning process and to improve this process. Parents tell the activity of their children to teachers. On the other hand teachers also inform the progress of students, achievements and many other Information.
The Education Department Chandigarh issued letter to different schools of Chandigarh. Copy of the letter is attached herewith

The first Parent Teacher meeting is to be conducted on last Saturday of April month.(if holiday then the next Saturday)

The Third Parents Teacher meeting is to be conducted on last Saturday of September month.(if holiday then the next Saturday)

The Fourth Parents Teacher meeting is to be conducted on last working day of December month.

महंगाई भत्ते में हुई 7 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि
